3M Kerracel Gelling Fibre Dressing

Kerracel Dressing is a versatile carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) primary dressing for moderate to highly exuding wounds.

How does it work?
Kerracel Dressing absorbs and retains high levels of exudate forming a gel which conforms to the wound bed and supports a moist wound healing environment, whilst the unstitched design aids micro-contouring to the wound bed, minimising dead space where bacteria
can proliferate.

When do I use it?
Kerracel Dressing is indicated for the management of moderate to highly exuding wounds, such as:
Leg ulcers
Pressure injuries
Diabetic foot ulcers
Surgical wounds
Donor sites
Cavity wounds
Superficial and partial thickness burns
Trauma wounds
Oncology wounds
It can also be used to control minor bleeding in superficial wounds. Suitable for use under compression bandaging.
