Coloplast Biatain Silicone Ag Adhesive Foam 7.5 x 7.5cm - Box of 5
The Biatain Silicone Ag 7.5 × 7.5cm is a small, square antimicrobial foam dressing designed to manage exuding wounds at risk of infection. Featuring a soft silicone adhesive and patented silver complex, it provides effective exudate control and broad antimicrobial protection while ensuring gentle, atraumatic removal—ideal for leg ulcers, pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, postoperative wounds, and more.
Biatain Silicone Ag?
This dressing combines a 3D polymer foam structure for superior absorption and vertical exudate retention—even under compression—with sustained silver release over up to 7 days. It conforms closely to the wound bed, reduces dead space, and releases silver ions continuously to help inhibit infection, including MRSA, VRE, and Pseudomonas, while remaining bacteria- and waterproof.
Key Features & Benefits
- Advanced 3D foam structure: Absorbs and retains exudate vertically to maintain a moist healing environment and prevent maceration.
- Patented silver complex: Provides broad antimicrobial activity against common wound pathogens throughout the wear time.
- Sustained silver release: Continues to deliver antimicrobial action for up to 7 days.
- Soft silicone adhesive: Ensures gentle, pain-free removal and secure fit with a new three-piece non-touch application opening.
- Flexible and conformable: Closely matches wound contours to minimise dead space.
- Protective top film: Waterproof yet bacteria-permeable, allowing exudate to be trapped while preventing external contamination.
Available Variants
- 7.5 × 7.5cm: Small square size for localized wounds
