Pelnac is a porcine atelocollagen which serves as a permanent dermal replacement substitute. The sponge structure of Pelnac means that Pelnac can be kept in close contact with the wound surface. The porous structure of Pelnac prevents migration of angiogenesis capillaries and its specialised cross linked structure prevents contractures. Pelnac is derived from porcine tendon which allow for good compatibility with human tissue.
